What does my Pink Tie Party ticket include?

Your ticket includes entrance into our evening’s primary festivities including cocktail hour and a plated dinner, as well as valet parking.

Is my ticket purchase tax-deductible? 

Yes.The amount of your contribution in excess of $225 is tax-deductible.

When will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets will await you at the door.


Will you sell tickets at the door?
Tickets must be purchased by 4/5

How will you accommodate dietary restrictions?
The kitchen offers kosher and vegetarian options that must be requested seven days in advance.

Will drinks be served?

Drinks will be served throughout our evening’s events. There will be an open bar throughout the evening. Guests must be 21 or over to attend Pink Tie Party

What kind of entertainment should I expect?

Guests will enjoy music provided by The Infernos Band and DJ Sizzling Sounds.

What should I wear to the Pink Tie Party?
This event is festive cocktail attire.

How do I participate in the auction?

We’ve simplified the auction process. With your ticket purchase, you’re now pre-registered and set to participate in our silent and live auctions. In fact, the auction will go live before the event and allow you to begin browsing and bidding on the most appealing packages! You may use your smartphone the evening and additional bidding kiosks are located throughout.

I have an item I'd like to donate to the auction. What do I need to do?

First, thank you! Donating items is incredibly simple – complete our Donation Form on our website so we may properly acknowledge you and provide a donation letter. An auction committee member will contact you with instructions on delivery. Please directly contact us with any questions:

What may I expect from the evening?

Your night begins as you and your (lovely/handsome) guests stand before the Westmount Country Club gazing upon the grand façade. Upon entering, you’re greeted at registration and welcomed to the night’s festivities. Cocktail hour is underway at 7PM, offering delicious food and a signature drink for the evening, while guests browse tables of incredible auction items.  The ballroom opens at 8PM for an evening of dancing and celebrating our deserving honorees.

What if I have to cancel?

 Tickets are non-refundable. You may transfer your ticket up to seven days prior to the event. With a request for cancellation, the price of the registration or table will be considered a charitable donation to Susan G Komen North Jersey and a tax donation letter will be issued.

How will I pay for my item?

Beginning April 1, 2017, all Silent Auction items will be available for online bidding. By placing a Win It Now bid, all other bidding on the item is terminated. Bidding will continue through the night of the event. On the night of the event, Friday, April 7, 2017, all remaining Silent Auction items will be on display at the Westmount Country Club. Please use your smartphone to place a bid or feel free to use one of our bidding stations. All Silent Auction purchases are subject to restrictions and availability as indicated on the individual auction item description. To bid on a Live Auction item, promptly raise your hand to the auctioneer. Bids must be made promptly and once closed, bidding will not reopen. If you are successful at being the highest bidder, your bid constitutes an acceptance of an offer to purchase that auction item. You can self-checkout on your smartphone or at the Finance table, after the Auction closes. All purchases must be paid for using a major credit card or check.

Will you offer refunds?

As a condition of participating in the Live Auction, each participant agrees to waive any and all claims of any kind against either or both the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Affiliate and the donor of property or services, and neither the North Jersey Affiliate nor the donor is responsible for any liabilities or damages, including but not limited to claims regarding the adequacy or value of the property or services and/or personal injuries or damage to property, that may result from the use of property or services. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. All items are sold “AS IS”. The winner assumes responsibility and liability for the item won. Winner is also responsible for any letters of entitlement, tickets, receipts or applicable taxes.

When will I receive my item?

You must take your purchase with you at the end of the evening, with the exception of those items where delivery has been arranged.  Items must be picked up at the Finance area after the auction closes. Unless otherwise indicated, all package items, including but not limited to, gift certificates, travel certificates, theater tickets, ports tickets and hotel certificates expire on Arpil 7, 2018. All personal services will be performed at a mutually agreeable date prior to Arpil 8, 2018. Gratuities are not included.We have made every attempt to give each item a fair market value. However, since we are not certified appraisers, we cannot guarantee the deductible amount of your purchase allowed by the IRS. Please consult your tax advisor concerning this matter.NOTE: The fair market value of each item can be found in the item description. According to IRS regulations, the amount of your deductible contribution is limited to the excess paid for the item over its value.
